TGIF-Friday's Gift to you -The Weekend News

Friday has landed on the Doorstep, and so have weThis is the TGIF edition of Useless News You Can't Use, but its fun to read and Delete Anyway
Today is Good Friday, but then again, every Friday is good. Seriously, Good Friday is a Christian religious holiday commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday precedingEaster Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday,[1] or Easter Friday,[2][3] though the last term properly refers to the Friday in Easter week. This is the 93rd day of 2015. There are 272 days left in the year. The Jewish holiday Passover begins at sunset.

Turning back Times Yellow Cornered Pages: In 1965, the United States launched the SNAP-10A nuclear power system into Earth orbit; it was the first nuclear reactor sent into space. And for any curious aliens who may have come across the cargo, it carried memorabilia from one of TVs popular shows

Postal History was made in 1860,  when the legendary Pony Express began carrying mail between St. Joseph, Missouri, and Sacramento, California. (The delivery system lasted only 18 months before giving way to the transcontinental telegraph.) We have two forms of mail now: electronic (E mail) and Snail mail (originally from Pony Express-only with our US Postal System)Image result for animated snail mail gifsCelebrity Candle burners with birthdays...Alec Baldwin, Eddie Murphy, and Skier Picabo Street (which sounds like a Voyeuristic Lovers Lane)--Also blowing out 47 candles Sebastian Bach the Rock singer, (formerly front man for Canadian group Skid Row) and Jennie Garth is 43-she recently married NKOB Blue Bloods Actor Donnie Wahlberg...

And today's Big Brother News--Homeland Security is at it again, they want to revisit their request for a National License plate tracking system, which will allow law enforcement to access a database that holds billions of records to drivers whereabouts.
Homeland officials say they are not violating any privacy issues and adding to any data base or contributing data to an already existing system.

EYE IN THE SKY:
A drone was reported hovering outside a North Cedar Road home around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The resident told police the small aircraft was hovering over the front yard, at about the height of the home's second floor, for about three to four minutes.
The drone then flew away, following the street. The resident said he had no idea who the drone belonged to and did not believe that it was being used to look into his house.
AND THE RICH SHALL BUILD THEIR 401 K'S:
Most Americans' incomes continued to fall last year, but the richest 20 percent saw theirs rise, a new Labor Department report showed Thursday that the average pre-tax income fell 0.9 percent from the same period a year earlier, to $64,432In fresh data that adds fire to a growing debate over income inequality, the department said that Americans on average saw income decline for the second straight year in the 12 months to June 2014.

A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE?  Who needs sight to get around when you've got a digital compass in your head? A neuroprosthesis that feeds geomagnetic signals into the brains of blind rats has enabled them to navigate around a maze.
The results demonstrate that the rats could rapidly learn to deploy a completely unnatural "sense". It raises the possibility that humans could do the same, potentially opening up new ways to treat blindness, or even to provide healthy people with extra senses. Yahoo wants a shot at marketing this system under its Moniker MICEQUEST.

THE PENILE TRANSGENDER SYSTEM:
A federal judge in San Francisco on Thursday ruled that California must provide sex reassignment surgery to a transgender inmate, calling denial of the procedure a violation of constitutional rights.

U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar wrote in his 38-page order that the state was violating the constitutional rights of Michelle-Lael Norsworthy, who was convicted of second-degree murder in April 1987, by not providing the operation.

Tigar wrote that Norsworthy had attempted other treatment options but says she still experiences "excruciating pain and frustration" due to her condition, and her current hormone replacement therapy could threaten her liver function.

Imagine that? This person committed a murder-I guess they reason the states pay for executions, why not transgender operations?

AND FINALLY

MC DONALD'S LIVES MATTERas workers take to the streets demanding a further raise to $15.00 an hour and a Union---The crowds of cooks, and  cashiers were not happy with the $1 raise, plus increased vacation time and educational benefits of employees at non-franchise Mc Donald's establishments. Even Ronald Mc Donald is miffed and is on a rampageEven Gotham has its Mc Donald issuesThat puts a wrap on this news stuff for Friday, totally made up and on the Bullshit Meter from 1-10, this buried the needle.
Most of the jokes were original and no comedians were harmed, plagiarized or content taken out of content too much. Our trusty Censor, Brian Williams has given his Seal of Approval for the news and any resemblance to real events, is purely coincidental and ridiculous. Until tomorrow or the next time we can get together and go over the fluff and stuff for your Coffee Klatch, thanks for letting me in your headlines. May your house be safe from Lions, Tigers and  Bears, and of Disgruntled Mc Donald's Employees bearing stale French Fries
